April 26 - 27, 2019
Friday evening social will be a catered event at the historic Center sanitorium with live local entertainment.
Saturday morning we will meet at the historic courthouse for breakfast and a short tour before we journey to meeting place at the Windham Civic Center.
Our speaker for the luncheon will be Texas state historian, Dr. Bill O’Neil who will be speaking about the Regulator-Moderator War that took place in Shelby and Panola county during the Republic of Texas years, a talk that will include details about the poisoned wedding party. You won’t want to miss that.
Saturday evening we will have PID Don Shove from Everett, Washington as our banquet speaker. This is shaping up to be a fun weekend and I hope you will make plans to attend and urge your club members to come as well.
